Highly Textural with sgrafitto marks. 2 piece minimalist abstract composition using mixed media. A layered, washed and scrumbled process, using a moody and rustic palette of autumn gold, deep rust and blackened turquoise. Finished with a triple varnish protective coating, ‘Itabei’ (meaning wood wall) has a grounded and earthy feel that embodies stillness and resonates with our connectedness to nature.
